Tony B. congratulations on your winning comment. We will send a day of food for you tomorrow to your office.

Danielle says:

On, I’m not saying people don’t have 60 minutes to put aside to work out. I’m talking about the stamina needed to work out FOR 60 minutes. I am a classic yo-yo. My weight goes up and down, and I have lost 40 pounds purely by diet–zero exercise. I know if I exercised things would be so much better. It’s starting a workout and being so discouraged that I can’t go the whole hour. As I re-read the question, I agree that 60 minutes is the ideal workout. You’re not overdoing it, and you are going to see results. As a beginner (again!), I stand by my 45 minute answer, so I can get to the one hour ultimate workout without quitting.

Mario Trotta says:

Hey tony, what is CINC stand for?
I think a solid hour is best and definitely doable for anyone.

Tony says:

If the CINC had the time to put an hour aside each day to perform the most critical component to personal health, so do you.

An hour is perfect.

Danielle says:

I think a 45 minutes of a solid workout just makes it seem in your mind to be a more attainable goal. It’s like charging $99.99 instead of $100. It’s mental. Then it’s easier to work your way up to one hour.

Paul W. says:

I prefer an hour. Anything over that and you are wasting too much time in between sets. The only excuse for working out over an hour is if you are a long distance runner/cyclist or a power lifter. Other than that cut out the BS and keep it movin!
