The older and busier I get, the more I enjoy being able to take time each day to exercise. I look at exercising as a respite from a hectic workday.

It really become a lifestyle and a part of your everyday activity. As a person living and working in the city, I have the advantage of many gyms and boutique studios available to me. Booking a particular class that fits with your schedule requires some planning so I’ll have to commit to a class a few days before and work my schedule around it. That’s how I stick to a workout regimen. Once it becomes a part of your daily routine, it’s like riding a bike. It also helps to take a class with a friend to motivate you and stay on track. It becomes more of a fun social get together rather than an obligation. If I stick to all my workouts, I reward myself by trying a new restaurant since I love to eat!

I make the time to exercise every day because it is as important to me as eating. My body feels 100x better when I get done with a workout and that workout makes me more energetic, which in turn helps me with bringing my very best to my job each and every day. It doesn’t matter how long, but I make sure I set aside time each day to get a workout in and push my body to its limits to be more productive.
